Umm I'm a bit confused about how and what to enter.

I can't remember ever entering before so I'm new to Epic Comp.

Cheers

Nevermind I found the other thread  :yay:

Anyone else panicking how little time there is till the deadline and whether you’re going to finish your entry(s)?

I’ve only just finished putting together my rather complex and fragile conversion (cursing lots as bits repeatedly fell off or I accidentally stabbed myself with my modelling knife) and haven’t even started painting yet... eek! Touch and go whether it gets done in time, my bad for leaving it so late!

Paint Glyn, PAINT!

Just remember, you only need to paint the side you photograph...

Don't give away my trade secrets.
In larger models you can even get away with not assembling both sides

Deadline tomorrow guys.

Well I’ve got one colour painted now, only seven more to go plus weathering... uh oh... hmm, wish I painted less slowly. I’m toying with staying up all night to get it finished, or as far as I can, but I’m not sure if I’ll have the stamina.

Actually I am doing this on my entry, though only because I can’t find a component on the far side. I’ll have to paint it again later. Fortunately I planned to take just a single photo from the other angle anyway.

I did actually do the one side paint trick with the Mossinian Hellhound I painted for the Siege book too, was a little embarrassed when Man of Kent said he'd like to see the model in real life.

I got one entry in before the deadline; I think I only painted two things for Epic this year.

I sent three entries in (Single, Warmachine, Battle Force). Do we get confirmation emails of our submissions?

I'm thinking that it's not a good sign when the contest organizer is laughing at the fact you submitted entries...Oh well, I suppose there's always next year.  :glare:

I stayed up all night painting in the end (and won't be able to sleep till this evening) but I entered EpiComp for the first time ever, yey!

Did run out of time some and so had to slapdash a couple of area which I'll have to come back and re-do from scratch later, but overall I'm really happy with my entry

Good luck to everyone with it! Quite looking forward to seeing what everyone's come up with, expect there'll likely be a bumper crop of cool fan models this year.
