Thanks, I was trying for a dull, understated kind of look. I'm slowly doing the whole army in a kind of bleak, Stalingrad style.

For myself, the competition has been much like a good boxing match. Every time someone posts something sensational, there seems to be a flurry of counter posts that are going to make the voting just brutal.

It also seems like in some way or fashion, that this contest should be "highlighted" on the SG site where it isn't uncommon for people to talk about the doom of Epic. Whereas on this site we can point to this contest and confidently state that Epic is alive and well, all over the globe, kicking tail and taking names.

Regardless of the outcomes, this contest has been an extraordinary experience and I can hardly wait for next year!

Warmster, I really like how the Ordinatus turned out. Too bad you didn't finish the ammo loader in time. In any case, it looks great as is. The Krupps family would be proud.  :D

hey, BigC, do we have any statistics? No. of models compared to last year, no. of models in all, popularity by race (Eldar, I guess, although the IG were out in numbers too) etc? I'd do it myself, but I'm a bit busy at the moment.

Fantastic Ordinatus W/N!

Great to see all these fine models, would be marvoulos to meet up on a tourny or something and watch them in "action" aswell!

Agree with the idea that this competition should be noticed somehow at SG homepage.

How about a how to?  It would be cool to have the ordinatus in the DOK list, but there needs to be a reccomended conversion from available GW parts (and plasticard).


It is not that dificult to build but I've used E40k parts which have seperate tracks making it easier to build a wide vehicle. I suppose you could build a slimmer version simply by fusing two bombard hulls. Then add some plastic tubing for the barrel and a few other bitz. I'll see if I can cook up a more detailed guide. :;):
