I've not had a chance to look through the competition previously this year, and boy, have I been missing out!
The standards of work shown on the forums this year have been outstanding & its continued into the competition, with many entrants raising the bar once again.
Voting is going to be a nightmare!
I started out in the pro-painting scene because of my 6mm "Sillyness" in painting and converting. Back then I think its fair to say I was in a minority in the details I would go into.
Its great to see that when I get back to the small scale madness, I'll be in the best company there has ever been for our hobby & plenty of people to learn from & targets to reach. I started trying to show what could be done in 6mm - now you guys are showing me - truly, thanks!!!

Just an update. The galleries are done, and only the main page needs completing. I hope to have it ready for voting tomorrow (which probably means that I wont get any time tonight now that I have openly stated that!).

Absolutely! This site has three 'regular' events - the Tale of Tactical Wargamers is currently ongoing, GothiComp is next, starting around beginning of May, and the 2007 Epic Painting Competition is due to hit us at the beginning of September of this year. Start painting!
