Hey AT-ers, I'm looking for someone who has one of the old Capitol Imperialis miniatures from the old days. I'm looking to do some 3-D design and bring the design into the AT18 era, but I'd like to get exact dimensions and good pictures of one. Can anyone here help? |

don't even bother with that thing- It's so stupidly small. I can give you the size of WMN Fan made proxy instead, yeah? |

I have to say though, basing the build on a 1:72 Tiger is a stroke of genius. The suspension and motive part looks the part perfectly, and the scratch build on top is great. Hmmm, a 1:72 Tiger shouldn't be too hard to find... |

Yeah it's way cool. Personally I'd really love to see Moredakka do a giant behemoth class command center for his DiD line. I'd snap one up in a heartbeat |

The scratchbuild looks WAY too small to me also. What was the transport capacity of a CI again? Wasn't it capable of carrying 3 Baneblades or masses and masses of other stuff? It would be good to make a model appropriately large compared to other models. I'd potentially be interested in buying one too if one were on sale. Are there actually any lists that use the CI? I've always found it a bit of a shame the Steel Legion list didn't have the options for the Leviathan and CI. |

The original CI was using 1/72 scale M113 Tracks and lower hull. Shown here in the GHQ model. So I would think a 40K Rhino or even a 25mm scale M113 would work out too. As a base for a "true scale" (?) CI … The top pic is my original CI …

Wikipedia say one is 80m long, which I think would be 25cm or so in Epic scale if I'm converting the math right? Though that's probably just a number some BL novel writer invented. I'd probably rather scale one based on what seems reasonable for it's old transport capacity. |

Thanks, Legion. That's the model I remember from AT88! |

Yes, that is mine from AT88, I got in '90 or '91. Add more decals since then ...

But GW has been known for a "sliding" scale as we all know … This my also help … ?

Thank you for those. What are the actual dimensions of the miniature? I figure that's a guide place to start - as you say, canon can vary wildly from those days. |
