Thanks for the tips, though with a pot of perseverance I have got that far. Took a few attempts With the "too big for virus checking" etc. but I have opened it in Safari (though it reloads every time the tab is reopened and not all the pages display every time. ) As you say, normally there's a "open in iBooks" option which saves it on the phone but no luck so far. Tried the little download icon and the "copy" function but no luck so far...
Therefore it would be good to have it hosted on NetEA ! :-)
