Bigger chassis. More ridiculous turret. Bugger the sponsons. Needs a dozer. You have NO IP issues with this tank as it a kv -2 IN SPACE |

You have NO IP issues with this tank as it a kv -2 IN SPACE I'd say it actually looks a bit more like a Churchill VII, at least to my eye. Add a four feet tall turret though, and you're onto a KV monster alright. Either way, I cannot see how that resembles anything more than historical tanks IN SPACE. Carry on with the awesome. |

I do like the overall design ... maybe a little too big of a "shell trap" under the turret ... but it's a pretty solid machination, IMO ... |

You don't get much more ludicrous than a 152mm howitzer on a turret like that. |

Yup. The KV-2 was so OG grim-dark that GW straight stole it. Attachment:

good idea for a range filler, i think i'd drop the sponsons and lose the slope on the top of the turret |

Make two versions of turrets, KV-1 and KV-2, voila, problem solved and more 6mm goodies for everyone. |

More versions of the turret would be tricky, as it would greatly increase production costs. And for a unit that isn't that common, this might not be the greatest idea. The sponsons are removable, and I could ditch the slope on the turret, that way keeping it very blocky. |

I continued working on the tank, made the chassis wider. Made the turret blockier and wider. Also started working on a few more details. Next step is to increase the length of the chassis a bit (looks way to much like a square block to me right now) and increase the turret's height slightly. Attachment: Attachment:

Personally I prefered the first one posted. |

How about moving the center of the turret more to the back? So the weight seems more naturally distributed. |

I've elongated the chassis and increased the turret's height: Attachment:

We felt that the hull became a little bit too big, so I've decreased the width of the tracks and returned to the original length of the chassis. Kept the bigger turret though. However, I will probably increase the length of a chassis a tiny bit: Attachment:
