If you look in that side shot of the tank you posted earlier, the turret is really tiny compared to the rest of the tank. This wasn't so much an issue before because the length of the barrel helps to balance out the weight. However, with the much stubbier cannon it almost looks like just the turret without any weapon. Making that cannon bigger and longer would help balance it.

Thank you for the explanation!

I've made the barrel slightly longer. I didn't want to alter it too much since it still needs to match the bunker-buster cannon from the Hammer Siege Tank.

I think what's skewing things for people is the fact that this tank is a little bigger than the design that influenced it so the cannon looks smaller due to the size difference.

I had to shrink the cannon from the Hammer tank in order to fit it on the turret. The reason why I shrunk it is not only to make it fit on the turret (otherwise you'd either have a weird looking turret with a way too big weapon, or I would have to resize the turret fundamentally, which I don't want to do), but also because I feel that the Hammer Tank's weapon is a heavier version. Even though in the game they might have the same rules, it doesn't mean that in the background they'd have to be the exact same calibre weapon. Also, why have a tank with a hull mounted cannon if you can have a turret version of it with sponsons? I feel that the Hammer and the Centurion variant have very specific roles. Whilst kinda similar, I feel that the Hammer is definitely a heavier version of the same weapon.

I've increased the length of the mortar slightly.

Width 17mm (23mm with sponsons), height 12mm (16mm with turret), lenght 30mm (36mm if you count the hull mounted laser cannon as well).

The Firefly and Siege (needs a better name) turrets are as good as ready to me. Note that the targeting device on the Firefly turret is a separate bit, meaning you could place it where ever on the turret you'd like.

Please let me know your thoughts. If all is fine these kits will be shipped off to Vanguard Miniatures. :)

Oh yeah, here's a little teaser...

It is supposed to be a teaser. Firefly & support turrets are lookin' good, though. :]

The top image is indeed in reserve, my bad. But you get the picture of what the design looks like. :)

As for the foggy picture, that the whole idea of a teaser. ;)
