I’m definitely going to be picking up some of these conversion sets and the wee civvies ships too. When are the system ships with pros options coming out? I still have a hobby mountain to reduce before taking the plunge but I definitely intend to!!

I was unsatisfied with the production casts of those ships and so have started again with new one piece masters, these two ships will no longer have optional prows sorry.

Och that’s no big deal to be honest - the ships themselves still good.

One thought though - perhaps you could come up with some prow conversion bits in the future that could work for Helios and some ‘other’ lines.

That has been suggested elsewhere, it is something to consider at least.

Hello team

Can I ask a cheeky question about when we can expect some more ship releases?

For example, the Helios cruisers are great so I mean to get some of those BUT when can we hope to see some slightly smaller ships, say 8cms or so, that I can use as a light cruiser? The heavy frigate is great but I crave a bit more variety!

Also, when will we see more escort style vessels? Those have been teasered already but I have some cash burning a hole in my wallet and I would love to know how long I must hold out ;D

Thank you and apologies!

I will be releasing shortly the Novan Elites Lynx class Destroyers and have three more Elites vessels in the casting queue.

There are plenty of ships to come.

Thank you for the prompt reply, sounds good! Do you have a rough timeframe for the shipsesesss? We needs them! I know you’re rammed for 6mm and 3mm stuff in your queue already though of course.

ZEUS PATTERN SHIPS

At long last the Zeus pattern ships have been released. These models were originally available from Resin Addicts and were purchased by vanguard some months ago in order to be able bring them back to the community on a permanent basis.

Also as part of this release I have included an alternative set of cruiser prows, the "Spear" pattern prows hopefully the start of a small range of alternative ship prows.

Find all the new models here:

Novan Elites naval reinforcements inbound!

First up, the Panthera Heavy Frigate has been re-released in resin.

Nova Elites Fleet – Panthera II Pattern Heavy Frigate
Quote:
The Panthera class Heavy Frigate is the workhorse of the Novan Elite fleets. Heavily armed and armoured, its various weapon configurations allow it to fulfil many different void combat roles.
No matter its broadside configuration, the Panthera’s basic armament includes two triple linked dorsal mounted turrets and two pairs of prow torpedo tubes. Its broadsides allow for different types of weapon systems which can be changed whilst in dock due to it’s modular design.

Most commonly used are weapons batteries, more than capable of tearing huge chunks out of enemy vessels many times its own size. Another popular configuration for the Panthera is to fit it with launch bays, allowing the heavy frigate to carry Javelin fighters. In order to protect other ships of the fleet from waves of ordnance and enemy fighters the Panthera is sometimes also configured with broadside turret platforms capable of projecting a withering volume of defensive fire.

set contents:

1 x Panthera hull
1 x Wing set (forward and aft)
2 x Triple turret broadsides
2 x Launch bay broadsides
2 x Gun deck broadsides

2 x Triple dorsal turrets

Model is 52mm long.

And then there's a completely new ship, the Pardus Assault Frigate!

Novan Elites Fleet – Pardus Pattern Assault Frigate
Quote:
The Pardus pattern assault frigate was a developed born of a need for a heavy hitting escort fitted with multiple plasma accelerators. The design is based on a modified Panthera hull which sacrifices its broadsides and torpedo capability in order to house the power core and systems necessary to feed three massive plasma accelerator cannon. Capable of firing all three cannon simultaneously in a devastating salvo that has been the doom of many an enemy vessel these ships are a extremely valuable asset for any Elites fleets.

They are often deployed in squadrons of two to four ships operating in line-breaker formations or as capital ship hunters of some renown.

Set contains:

1 x Pardus hull

1 x wings set (forward and aft)

2 x triple barrel dorsal turrets
