I do like that more: it seems more the size of a Star Wars gunship with two (smaller) fighter escorts, rather than just a big fighter. Is that the sort of image you were going for, @malika2? (Comparison with modern fighters and transport planes might be interesting, too, or transport helicopters with attack helicopters).

I would like to see some enemy ships.

Proxies for Eldar, Proxies for Orks, Proxies for Chaos, Proxies for Tau. Just some general ships. 3 pack of Escorts/Destroyers types, single pack Cruises, and a single pack Battlecruiser/Heavy Cruiser/or Fleet Carrier type.

This could open up a greater availability of ships for gaming systems like BFG, Epic EA (where you want a space ship in the army), etc.

Eloi and Skinnerz ships are still far off. As for the Tainted and Cybershadows, I have been experimenting a bit, nothing to show for yet.

I must say, whilst other races would be ace, to me a Helian battleship would be far more interesting, so that one could build a BFG-esque fleet entirely from one coherent design and manufacturer.

Vaaish is working on a battleship, he designed the other Helios ships so it seemed only right he should do the BB as well.

A new little ship is in the works!
Quote:
We've been working on something a little bit different, basically experimenting with other shapes for ships whilst maintaining the familiar aesthetic.

This little craft is used by various security forces, pirates, and what not.

The model's current dimensions are 13mm wide, 15mm long, 20mm tall.

We're curious to hear your thoughts about this one.

Thanks in advance! :)

I really like the idea of not horizontally aligned ships, and this one is really well done. It does remind me a lot of a b-wing, however. Don’t know if that is a drawback for you.

I was inspired by Star Wars and Homeworld when designing this thing. Personally I don't see it as a drawback that people can recognise the stuff that has influenced this design. Just wanted to experiment with some different shapes than most other ships we've done so far. :)

For me it looks like the bridge and engine of a ship.

Could you use this as a "standard" bridge /engine that could be attached to a frontal cargo hull , light carrier, escort ship or tanker. .
If it does not have cargo it can be used as an escort.

Cheers

Homeworld's Motherships was what I first thought of when I saw this :)
A whole fleet like this would probably work pretty good. No idea about suitable race/affiliation though.

I guess the ship could be used as a Xenos Vessel or some Rogue Trader / Wolfpack ship if desired. It is meant to be used as a 'local paramilitary' ship, so used by mercantile fleet, pirates, security forces, etc.

I have received a few advanced sets of port wings for the little stealth ship, so I will be able to release that model very soon now. More wings have already been cast and will be with me ASAP. The ship should be up in store by weeks end in limited numbers.

As an aside would there be any interest in a short limited campaign to get the other Elites vessels produced, currently we have an upgrade set for the Panthera, another frigate, 3 destroyers, little civilian system ships and re-worked Elites fighter ordinance pieces, all would be in metal.

Thoughts please.
