By the way, will the stuff I've already sent you (extra upgrades for the Novan IVF) also be included here, or are they separate from this?

What do you mean by warrior variants? Tanks or soldiers?

And further is the utility truck the overlander previously seen or a smaller chassis?

I guess he means variants of the Novan IVF. The tank-hunter/bunker-buster kit is still a WIP, check it out over here.

I'm also curious to see if there's still any interest in this tank. It's almost done, and the hull could then later on be used for the command and recon variants, as well as house various artillery weapons.

Malika2, are you a part of Vanguard miniatures nowadays?

No, but since the Novan IVF I've made went to Vanguard, it felt appropriate that any variants I design on that tank should go to them as well.

Questions questions, all the upgrades will probably be funded my me, the warrior is the name i've given to the Novan IFV hull as designed by malika2 he is pratically my inhouse designer already with his proliferation of models. I've continued TMG's tradition of naming vehicles after modern british armoured fighting vehicles.

@malika2, mate keep those designs coming they can all be included in this project.

Fairly across the board here with nothing standing out as high prioriity at the moment.

Keep the poll running for a few more days, lets see how it'll be then. :)

I'd prefer to see all those lovely towed artillery pieces (which are great but 100% of no use to me currently) getting mounted on an armoured hull. Not a truck, not a halftrack, but a warrior-like armoured body. Add some AA on that and I'd be delighted.

How dare you not have it already finished? I'm shocked at this lack of foresight! I'm off to find a sister repentia with an electro-whip to 'further your efforts'.

The kit will basically use the hull of the Novan Dragon Flame tank, which you can see here. The idea behind this hull is that it will be used for many other variants as well.

Also, I've got a feeling that the weapons Ben made and the hull I've designed should work pretty well together. Check out these two pictures MoreDakka sent me to test the compatibility between Ben's designs and the original Novan IVF hull:

Not bad, they certainly do 'work' together, but I can't help this nagging feeling that they'd look better with a recessed mount for the weapon, rather than a protruding point. Imagine the hull of the AFV forms a natural hollow, a bunker if you will, for the loader/gunner/etc to hide within - or, alternately, a raised, shielded compartment like the German Hummel or Wespe of WW2 fame.
