I like them! Smaller one will be perfect for proxing Leman Russ.

For those who are concerned about the Apocalypse tank's sponsons... Yes, they are separate! ;)

Bit of a wild thought, but what about a tank with a sponson style like the Soviet T-35? A main turret and smaller turrets fore and/or aft of them on the hull. A bit like the current baneblade has a smaller, lower mounted turret on the forward hull.

Just a thought, as it's a bit different in style to the old stick 'em on the sides approach. A prototype might spark interest.

A T35 inspired tank has already been considered.

Started working on an anti-infantry variant of the Novan Centurion:

Basically a bit gatling cannon, a hull mounted heavy machine gun and flame thrower (note how the design has changed compared to the flame thrower on the Novan Warrior IFV) sponsons.

The Apocalypse Battle Tank is as good as ready. The 'main' thing that still needs to be done is to construct the mechanism underneath the chassis that allows for dozer blades to be mounted.

Curious to hear your thoughts!

Think its a really nice mini, just a shame i dont have a lot to use it for. Maybe this could inspire me to pick up the the Defeat in Detail rules one day. Cause i could definitely field a company of these.

Or maybe this could be popular in 30K?

The sponsons are removable, so you could probably use it as a Leman Russ or something, otherwise (with sponsons) it could also function as a proxy for the Ragnarok Battle Tank.

As for Defeat in Detail rules, not sure if there's anything on that yet...we should look into that! :spin

Cool. is the development open for input from the public?

Regarding the rules you mean? We haven't really set anything up yet, but you can always toss ideas around if you have any. :)

If you play netepic or ea you should have a good time using them as Ragnaroks I'd suspect, rubber lizard. That way you get new models and vanguard gets sales and everyone wins!
