Two of my Destroyer designs for Vanguard Miniatures are as good as ready.

Do you guys have any final feedback before I'm shipping them off for printing?

I don't know if they fit in any rules set but to me they looks cool. You have given them quite heavy fire power: torpedo launchers, lance turrets and bombardment cannons/ fighter bays. :)

They could work as Hunter/Cobra Destroyers, the torpedoes are its main weapons, the turrets on top are just that: turrets. The broadside weapons could either be cannons/fighter bays, but with a tiny bit of green stuff or plastic card you could seal them off.

I've just shipped these two Destroyers off to Vanguard Miniatures. In the meantime, don't hesitate to check out the opening post of this thread to see some status updates regarding finished, WIP, and planned models (can you spot the updates?).

The Novan Elites Frigate (three types of broadside weapon configurations) has been printed and is off to get cast. Expect it to be released around April this year.

Also, two Destroyer variants have officially been shipped off to Vanguard Miniatures for printing.

My bombers and torpedo bombers are as good as ready. Any feedback before I send them off?

They look great. I like the design but why they look almost the same? IMHO on tabletop it would be hard to discern them.

I felt that there shouldn't be that big a difference between a torpedo bomber and a regular bomber, only the weapon layout. There would be greater diversity between a fighter and a bomber though.

Also, I actually like both weapon loadouts and people seem to be liking them both, so rather than simply go for just one of them, I'd submit both of them to Vanguard and let people pick the ones they like better themselves. :)

I missed the destroyers but I'm just in time for the bombers! Very swish, @malika2!

On the topic of recognisability: I suppose 'in-universe' explanation would be it doesn't matter what they look like, since they use other methods to track attack craft. On the table top, I suppose you could paint them differently (a stripe for torpedo bombers, for example).

Though I do wonder what they'd look like if they had just two large missiles, one on each side....

I suppose for these ones, more engine detailing would be too much? Just out of curiosity.

Started working on a Q-ship model, your thoughts?

The model looks amazing, but there's quite a lot of visible weaponry for a Q ship?
