No problem Magnus and I agree it would be helpful for replay games. The problem is that we play at a club so can't leave terrain out to replay under identical conditions. I'd need to see what Craig thinks of replay games and switching sides; I must admit I prefer to play different forces and terrain each game but I wouldn't be against it if Craig is agreeable.
What would also be really helpful is for other players to get involved in playtesting. I'd like to know what Gold players think as well and to find out what their experience with different armies is, particularly in comparison to Evolution.
Anyone else thinking of playtesting the formula? Come on, don't be shy!

Yeah, i don't mind replaying some games - although i'm still at the stage of re-discovering/picking up the hobby again, so i'm a bit eager to try out new armies/units with almost every game at the moment to see what has changed/what i like.
Also, with only getting 1-2 games a month in it might get a bit stale by doing the same forces a few times in a row. Perhaps we'll just take note of the ones that we feel definitely need looked at and try to re-run them at a later date?

My personal preference would be to keep mixing it up and play different games as well.
However, on the odd occasion we play a weekend game, we could play 2 games @3K in a row (rather than 1 larger battle) if we made a day of it? On the second game we simply swap forces so it would keep it interesting for us as well.

Do whatever keeps things interesting. I don't want anyone to loose interest over repeating games.
