Hi all.

Just a reminder to everyone that Incoming is an Epic E-zine for the fans by the fans.  :;):
This means that we need YOUR submissions to help fill the pages with new and original stuff for all of the community to enjoy.

We need everything you can think of: battlereports, painting/modelling guides, army lists, rules, Fluff etc.etc.

If you've got some cool house rules, thought up a great paint scheme for your army, got some modelling tips or just want to write a few lines about your favourite Epic Army then go ahead and send it in!

You don't have to worry about layout as we will be doing that to fit the format of the mag. Just send us the raw text as a Word document, PDF or whatever along with any pic material you want to accompany your article.

Hi Warmaster Nice,

What's the general consensus on new units?  Do they go on the boards first for comment or can they go into Incoming for review?

I'm working on the Landing Craft rules and a scenario for testing it out, hoping to finish it by the end of the week.

It's up to you really. The main difference is that if you submit it to Incoming you cannot go back and have the article edited after the mag has been put out. However if you feel confident that the rules are fairly balanced then it shouldn't matter too much. Besides Incoming is more intended as a source of inspiration rather than a set of definitive rules/painting conventions etc.etc. like something released by GW.

No set deadline ATM.

I think a realistic one would be sometime mid/late September.

I'm guessing that even if someone were to submit an article past the deadline, you would hold it for the next issue.

In fact a plan Doug and I were discussing ever since I was brought on board was to build up an articles archive so we had some resources to draw upon in "dry times".
Unfortunately we never had enough submissions to make this a reality.
We also wanted to market Incoming more agressively so it got more exposure on the SG forum and elsewhere but the revamp at Fanatic slowed that down considerably. Naturally Doug also have to spend most of his time on DRM now and with my own time restraints ATM it's been a slow year for Incoming.

Still I'm very thankfull for your patience. If the release of the next issue is delayed untill October I think I can also promise a special treat for Squat Fans to compensate for the long wait... *Tease, tease...* :;):


Maksim: Looks great. There should definitely be something usefull there :cool:

I had an idea for a continuing article I thought would be interesting.  It would be entitled "101 Rhino conversions".  Each issue would feature from 1-4 conversions, based on how complex they are.

Now I have a number of plans for plastic Rhinos, but no where near 101.  I know L4 could provide a few.  Anyone else have any to contribute?  

I'm sure there are easily 101 conversions out there, most likely many times that.
