This may be a "dumb" question, but do you have the SM1 and AT1 rule books ? There may be some stuff in those "tomes", IIRC.

Hi all, I wrote a short piece for Incoming! which will eventually cover the entire Horus Heresy, the main difficulties that I ran into was with the pre-heresy equipment and characterisation of the Primarchs. The characterisation is in the second part which you will see in about 2 weeks with the next issue of Incoming! but for the pre-heresy equipment, and for the pre-heresy tactics I wondered if you guys could give me a hand. What do you think of the following piece I wrote? (Click here to view it) Any help would be appreciated as when it is all finished I intend to merge all the Horus Heresy fiction and have it as a downloadable PDF from the EPICentre website. |

I do - but I have incomplete copies, the main concern was the 40k style of realism in play there, does it seem feasible to you? And does it fit your impression of the White Scars pre-heresy? |

The White Scars fluff has been scattered throughout the pages of W/D too. They are G/W's version of Mongols. So to answer your question - yes, generally speaking ... however, it's not that easy to write a narrative based on game play. |

You are preaching to the converted, like I said - the characterisation is the hardest bit, there is nothing on the differing personalities of the leaders anywhere. Complete nightmare  . Will be interesting to see what people think of the second part.

Of course the next task is the creation of Pre-Heresy NetEPIC and Epic:A army lists - in which there will have to be rules for the Shadow guard I guess. |

Hmmm......this looks promising... Normally I steer well clear of CCG (too much like baseball card swapping!), but would give this a go out of intrest. Anyone know when its out or any specific details? How come its not a GW product? Who are Sabertooth Games? Is it a front for the Inquisition after all? Why are Grey Knights teleporting into my study? Why is---
