HI all,

Just to let everyone know that unfortunately due to being in high demand at work the incoming issue will be delayed. I normally have it ready for the evening of the 14th (GMT) but due to late nights at work I have been unable to get everything ready.  It should be ready for Tom Friday night(GMT), latest Saturday lunchtime.

Sorry for the delay  :{

Hi!

No worries doug, I know how that feels.

On the good side, maybe it will give me time to get off my butt and take pictures of that battle I have pending.

Doug,

Could you upload it to your own personal webspace and then post the link on the board? I will be away until mon morning so won't be able to put it on the EZine page until then. This way we can ensure that people get to it see it ASAP.

If not then NP, thanks for all your hard work with this!

Great EZine Doug - the front cover was superb!

While we on the EZine topic, what did you guys think of the Fiction and Campaign rules?

Jimbo,

You are most welcome to use the Tau photos for your site, I would be honoured!!

Glad you like them, however they were not easy to paint, maybe that just me needing more practise  :D

I wanted to ask for opinions regarding Incoming. What are people's views on the following:

1. The continuous supply of rules  (as is now).
2. Maintain the fiction(IMHO a must :D )
3. more battle reports? Would require more submissions there.
4. Maybe a couple of pages of edited photos of people's
models like the way heavy metal teams display their work
in the WDs? Would require submissions of models irrelevant
of what they are of; conversions, different models from
   other ranges and the like.
5. reviews on models from Void, Epic, BFG, 40K any others I
   missed?

If the above was supported by submissions then that would be great! However if there are any other suggestions I am all ears.

Tom:
The fiction was great and would love to see more of what you started in this latest issue....
I still have to read the Empire of the stars so I can't comment as yet.

Thanks guys for the support and praise, I am really enjoying being part of Incoming

1. The continuous supply of rules ?(as is now).

Inclusion of other game systems - do we stick to just EPIC?

Or do we allow in Battlefleet:Gothic (a definite in my mind)?

VOID (hmmm.... personally I love it, but others may argue that is doesn't share the same fluff and ruleset - variety can be the spice of life though and we are sent a MASSIVE amount of Void articles as you can see by the VOID website.)?

40k? Not many fans here on the boards, but I used to like 2nd Ed. and it ties in with the fluff. So it makes sense to use it.

2. Maintain the fiction(IMHO a must ?)

In my opinion, fluff is the life blood of every fiction.

3. more battle reports? Would require more submissions there.

Very soon I will be able to supply an almost limitless supply of VOID reports.

4. Maybe a couple of pages of edited photos of people's ?models like the way heavy metal teams display their work in the WDs? Would require submissions of models irrelevant of what they are of; conversions, different models from other ranges and the like.

I think that is a great idea, liase with Chris then perhaps you could use the latest submissions for Gallery - perhaps people might sending you pictures for critique as well.

5. reviews on models from Void, Epic, BFG, 40K any others I missed?

I can help on the VOID stuff, as I get images of the greens during development, so can supply previews.

When I meant "including other games," I wanted more feedback as opposed to me just stating what's going to be and then that being the way it is.

I would have thought that BFG would be great as that's part of the Epic40k.co.uk site as well and I know I follow stuff like that as well. ?

I like Void as well but I wasnt sure how well it would be received, plus if Void has its own site, articles would be needed there as well and may even be covered in a similar Void E-zine in the future.

Battle reports seem a good idea with many pics, I think the more pics available for the relevant article the better, many people might find other peoples' work as inspiration for their own projects. It also shows the support and enthusiasm for the hobby.

I will talk to Chris about the edited pics idea. I have myself some pics that I would like to show but not necessarily as an article.

Doug.
