Hi netepic people this is my opinion (and I know my website isn't perfect, hence some trepidation in posting this) I really find your background graphic has two flaws for me one, the contrast is too strong (I do use a TFT screen), which means I have a difficulty reading the text over it, if the contrast was less prominent it might avoid this two, the (clever) stationary aspect of it as you scroll down the screen, which also makes it difficult for me to read as well |

Hi, Thanks for the feedback, it is always appreciated! In this aspect of the website we have three options, we can either: A: Keep it as it is B: Remove the graphic C: Use a more distinctive graphic and seperate the text from it using block colours behind the text (for an example see what I have down with the VOID battlestats page at this URL. Let me know what you think guys. When I have all the options I will open it up to a vote on the NetEPIC mailing list. Tom. |

my vote goes with B I know I prefer to avoid background images generally as they don't add that much - I think the black of netepic would be enhanced with the single white eagle you have on the homepage without the grey ones |
