There was a site somewhere where they sold minis of snowmen with guns. If only I could find it...

did you mean this site

you can get more than just snowmen...

check out the Christmas Wars

though if I had to fight snowmen I would use a hairdryer

Dang! They've stolen an idea from my head. Once when I was REALLY bored and listening to Weird Al's "The Night Santa Went Crazy" I invented a wargame concept called "Santa Strikes Back".

The basic story idea was that the big money in USA got fed up with Santa giving out free toys each year and thus diminishing the sales (this being against the spirit of capitalism to boot). So they tried to kill Santa.

Santa avoided the trap and got really peeved off. While the USA was busy bombing the North Pole Santa retired to his real base in Lapland and made a military coup in Finland. He then geared his formidable industry into the production of terrible weapons and prepared for war.

The idea dried up when I couldn't find enough idiotic national stereotypes to make armylists. I also couldn't decide upon whether actually to make this a (somewhat) serious game or to develop some kind of "hilarious tactical combat" system.  :D

Dammit - every time I saw Santa I was always disappointed, she always looked like my Mum.

That Santa would have been much nicer!!!

Mmm. "Army list guru", I like the sound of that.   :;):  The rules seem OK, even though I'd like to add "grav" before the "sled". That makes them more futuristic. :D  But what are the rules for Santa?. They must be capable of tackling him. I guess he's a greater daemon.  :)

Edit: how do you think a Bloodthirster would look like in a fur trimmed coat and a fur trimmed bonnet?  "Go ahead, just be naughty. Make my day mortal!"

:O. The buggers have banned my music - I cannot work under these conditions, need rock goodness

Ok - A Blood Thirster is cool for Santa, but no wings, he is mean't to be slow ;). How about he seeks to gather up all of the squats to be his new toy makers? Or how about a bloodthirster mounted on a chaos steed? Could always call it Rudolf?!?

Good thinking about the grav sleighs.
