How do you plan on organizing these for sale ? 1 - 2 or 3 of each type sprue + a command sprue ? :eh

Most squads will be sold in lots of 5 sprues (25 figures).

I will also offer platoon deals - in the Terran Hybrids case, likely this will be one squad of normal Hybrids, one squad of Abominations, and one squad of Destroyers with a command sprue. Something like that.

When Terran Hybrids are encountered in large numbers, they are often lead by an exceptionally rare and powerful construct known simply as a "Prime" by Terran forces. Hybrid Primes appear almost human, though most still feature some tell-tale signs of their Legion lineage, such as three fingered hands, misshapen heads, and oddly colored skin. Unlike other Legion constructs, Primes are allowed to wear the traditional robes and high-collared gorgets commonly wore by the Founders themselves. This suggests that the Legion Founders hold Hybrid Primes in very high standing.

Primes act as a conduit for the Legion's will on the battlefield. Like the Legion Founders themselves, they appear to be psychically sensitive, leading many to theorize that Hybrid Primes contain within their biological make-up Founder genetic material. The possibility that the Founders may eventually create constructs that could pass as human beings armed with powerful psychic abilities is a terrifying prospect.

Hybrid command squads often feature standard bearers, much like Terran armies - so that the Hybrids under their command can easily locate their leaders in the midst of battle. An assortment of body guards can also be found in command squadrons, made up of the most loyal and battle-hardened Hybrids in the army. The most powerful Primes are accompanied by huge Legion bodyguard constructs, usually only found protecting Legion founders themselves.

Not sure just yet - I'll keep everyone posted.

I'm doing research on multiple casting options - I have a price point I'm trying to stay below.

Crikey, you seem to churn out new designs very quickly! They do look pretty cool though. I can clearly see what people are going to use these as proxies for, but is the potenial for IP infringement dodged through your own background fluff? Just curious that's all. also, are these going to be cast in metal or resin?

Thanks, the models which are variations on previously made models go quite quickly, and as I create more, my library of usable parts grows, making future creations all the faster.

I'm looking to go resin - but it hasn't been decided for sure yet.

The inspiration for these guys comes from many different sources - not only games, but movies, comics, and some of my favorite horror novels and short stories. Here is the piece of concept art I worked from - I think they are unique enough from any of the sources I drew inspiration from:

Of course, a lot of the detail shown here was sacrificed due to scale, but I think the models hold true to the source material. Painted pieces will also help to distinguish them.

OH !!!!!!!!!!!!! :o :o :o :o Also ... resin might be too fragile ? Metal would probaby be more "durable" ... yet resin may hold paint better once throughly washed ... Just my thoughts ... :geek

OOOOO! Deep-one. Pissed off. With a gun. And trousers. Scary. Not enough tentacles, otherwise brilliant. I will have to start a new cult. Starting to look like revolutionary russia in my mini-cabinet...

I too am disconcerted by your enthusiasm.

These are fantastic. Perhaps adding a bit more Cthulu to the mix would help to further differentiate it from other sources? I'm thinking Legion+Nightgaunts=Fun, or something similar.

I would second that! But let's be honest in these weird days of IP law perversion. Use the ORIGINAL (and IP-troll-safe) sources. No need to go through a meek British 80s copy in this case me thinks.
