The smaller gun looks much better, although i would have gone even smaller.

I like the double engine units, and the rear door which follows the same design idea as on the FW Gorgon. Troop rear embarkation door and forward assault ramp.

I'm not sure that I'm keen on it tbh (yeah I know, boo hiss to me). It looks a bit too Dystopian Wars, which I'm sure many people like. I would have liked it to have looked more smoother with less rivets. I think the whole rivets on vehicles in the future is just daft. Also, one of those rivets would be be about a 8" across at that scale! I do, however, like the size of it. It really does look quite epic!

I think the rivets make it look more like 'harsh environment mining vehicle hastily adapted for military purposes' than 'military command centre vehicle designed for the job'...... I like both aesthetics myself and will probably get myself a couple of these :)

Interesting feedback - here's a "simplified" version of the Tartarus - what do you think?

The driver is probably short, drunk and bearded.

Like it, I prefer the rivetted version..... I think a smooth armoured version would have more interlocking lines and things to break up the larger flat panels..... Kinda scifi manga style

I like the rivetless version better.

However rivets can be a nice element for painting techniques.

The riveted version woild look better to me if you spaced the rivets slightly by lowering the overall number of rivets. Right now it looks busy and steampunkish, that has already been overdone in small scale models in a dystopian way.

+1 Rivets

Is the front ramp going to be a separate component so it can be modeled open? If so is there any chanced of an alternative involving some big snow plow looking thing?

Much prefer the rivetless version. I hate rivets. I think they're one of the dumbest things to put on a futuristic vehicle.

That sounds like a member of one of the Grud Merchant Guilds - their vehicles are similar, but feature Celtic style embellishments.

I was thinking about modeling an interior, but what a pain in the arse! The bottom would have to be split into 2 pieces for casting purposes, and likely another piece would need to be made for a decent looking interior scene. So I'm going to say "no", unless there's a popular uprising supporting it...

But I could mess around with a massive plow attachment - that would be BIG.

I'm kind of going towards a post apocalyptic thing with the Terrans - they blew themselves up with a global nuclear war many decades ago and had to kind of "start-over". So an industrial revolution style is what I was shooting for.

I have no idea what the casting cost will be for this monster... But maybe two versions could be possible - a Mk1 and a Mk2 for example. or maybe I should start a poll and let the people decide on which version makes it into the catalog!
