A slightly smaller main gun would be my choice here. Remember that you have to account for space for the rest of the gun, ammo stowage, equipment to move the rounds and of course the secondary weapons you have on the same level.

Just my thinking on this, i do like to see a model that looks like it will work in reality. :)

Good work! I like it. However, I agree with moredakka. Less is more. Even in a grim dark future. Also, not sure about the roof, but I suppose you are going to add more stuff?

How about this - reduced the gun size by 15%, and added some vision ports:

Yeah, after I do the engine, I'm going to do a top layer which will likely have a control tower, cannon turret, communications, and if there's room a small landing pad.

Yeah I wanted to give it a forward facing ramp - like a landing craft.

Here's a shot of the engines:

Image

Went with two separate, yet massive engines, complete with large smoke stacks. I figured two power supplies would be appropriate for such a large vehicle - one for each track.

I was also able to squeeze a small rear-facing ramp between them - though this would be far less effective as an assault ramp, I see it as an alternate exit more than anything.

I can't see any of the images at work, are they hosted on some dodgy server which is blocked by most firewalls? I can view most other pics posted on taccomms at work.....
