What are your thoughts on basing this beast? I'm thinking small flying base using brass rod, if you agree a 1mm hole in the underside of the casting would really help.

Looks good :) Could these come with around 3-4 separate ball and socket arms (perhaps designed so that any could go on either side) for the sake of variety? We'll likely be using them in units and it would be nice to get some variety in there, even if it makes no difference in game terms.

Loving the group shot :)

My only significant concern is the Ghast Speeder bikers. You'll be making a few more poses /designs too surely? I base bikes 4 to a 20mm x 40mm base and would hope to have all different models on a base, like you have with all your infantry. 3 different ones should be a good minimum at least, as that's the most standard and common number for bikes to a base. Given that the bike is the main part of the design you could design some bikes with some variant designs on the cowling or positioning of the blades for variety. It'd make them more individual and personalised rather than production line sameness.

It'd be easy enough to do this yourself with a pin vice? Different people base things different ways, using a base that comes with it, 1-2mm brass wire, or thicker clear plastic rod (like I prefer).

Thanks Tom! I really appreciate that.

I'm thinking the standard circular base on the underside of the tail. Many people are not gifted modelers - and wouldn't want to fiddle around with pin vices and brass rod.

There will indeed be a number of ball and socket arms with different weapons, which can be glued to either side, so lots of variety.

Its not a bad idea, but when it comes to things like bikes, where each rider is likely in the exact same pose, it hardly seems worth it. The front of the bike is a separate piece though, so maybe I can get some variation there...

Ummm - OK, I was just informed that another company has a unit called the "Parasite Engine". Thanks for bringing that to my attention!

OK, so I'm dropping the "Engine" from the name, so now it's just the "Stygian Parasite".

Even if the pose is exactly or mostly the same you could still differentiate the riders a bit. Bare headed rider compared to one with a mask. One with bare arms contrasted to one with armour plated arms (perhaps with spikes on).

Hi, Brückenkpf posted a news about you today.
http://www.brueckenkopf-online.com/?p=9 ... ent-334325

To my surprise there is some discussion about the design being to close to a certain company. :eh

I mean they chear for every third party "weltraum marine soldat"... ok what ever.
More coverage for you! O0

Edit:
Your news is the most commented post at the moment:P More than the Grandma Wendy review.

It may be my rudimentary grasp of German, but I didn't get that impression.

I'll trust your rudimentary understanding more than my complete misunderstanding!

haha No, only one dude says he dont like the miniatures - but he likes that there are new models for anime inispired xenos.
Half of them are confused that they look so similar to a certain style. They are just not used to see proxies for other armys than armoured space soldiers. The rest defends you like they should :P
