I like it, partly because it looks like Kenshin with Sanosuke's sword. :D

No shoulderpads for me as well.

I like unshouldered better, purely aesthetically. Badass is a perfect way to describe it.

However, I think the shoulderpads tie to the rest of the line better. The version with really screams its relation to the other Stygian models.

I agree with DaR, but we'll see how the popular opinion swings.

No shoulderpads.

Might I suggest masked in place of facial features?

The unshoulderpadded one is great, but feels like he belongs in a different army. I prefer the one with the pads.

I dunno. I like the no-shoulderpads sculpt, but it looks more like a strong-willed youth taking up his fathers meatcleaver in defense of the village.

The one with shoulderpads looks like an evil raider with a wicked two-handed sword, though.

Perhaps one big shoulder pad with armour going down the arm to the elbow. Put it on the arm that gets exposed when he swings.

Which one do you guys like better - with or without shoulder armor?

I'm pretty sure I saw that chap at last Weekends Hardcore Superstar / Buckcherry gig. Thankfully he didn't show me his cleaver.

Love the model, love the anime influences you are crafting a truly unique range here chap. I love it for existing and hate it for competing :p.

Why not have it unshoulderpadded rank and file but given the bossman the pads?

Actually, I've talked myself out of that go with the shoulder pads.

I prefer B: with shoulder pads. Am I right to assume that the womanly chest will develop later?
