Thanks for asking. I have 6 different sprues being printed in bronze right now - in fact they should be done today. I have the metal test pieces back from the metal caster and they look great, so as soon as I get the bronze prints back, they are going directly to the metal casters for mass production.

So while the waiting game is no fun to play - I'm almost at the finish line!

in the meantime, I'm almost done modeling the Barong:

The first wave will be: Gashers, Prowlers, Stalkers, Winged stalkers, Overseers, and Mantis Beasts.

These will likely be ready by Christmas.

The second wave will be available after the new year, and will consist of: Terran Hybrids, Hybrid Abominations, Hybrid Destroyers, Hybrid Command, Overseer Nagas, and the Barong.

Depending on how sales go, the Tartarus may follow, or another run of 6 "smaller" models.

I was hoping to find the hybridified fellows in the first run :( . However, I can understand your prioritizations. On the other hand, that means that the mini-year 2013 is something to look forward to!

I'm all about the Hybrids. Several of us up here in the Northeast are looking forward to the New Year!

The Hybrids are all being made for sure, and will be submitted for bronze prints as soon as the first wave is sent to the casters. I chose what I did for the first wave simply because I imagine the demand for them will be much higher.

In the meantime the last model in the second wave is pretty much done - the Barong:

This is a two part living artillery model - he fills up a 20x20mm base nicely.

What do you guys think? It's kind of tough to get him across with pictures - it's like a cross between a crab and a rhino beetle with a large bio-cannon sticking out of it's carapace. It's got a tiny head hidden under that shell between the forearms.

I agree with your demand forecast.

Looks interesting. But I think the square nozzle makes it look like a crab mated with an old tube TV.

I think that you should give it some buck teeth, for the Wallace & Gromit vibe.

I also moved the forearms out and apart so you can see the face of the bug a bit easier under all that chitin and spikes. :)
