Yeah, I figured it was a 20mm, and the turret looks like the commander's cupola for an M48 ... Thanks for the intel !

Nice improvement on quad track version, but the turret really needs raising to give a greater firing arc. Just as long somebody gets the 6-wheeler, I'll be happy.

Hi!

Fully agree. They shouldn't use anything as mundane as wheels or tracks.

Anti-grav platform technology!

As long as there is no evidence of a propulsion unit or power plant so the lesser races seeing it won't be able to copy the design exactly. I want enemies scratching their heads in amazement first, then shooting later.

Hi!

LOL!

They are defeated before the battle even starts due to their wondrous technology! ;D

Started to flush out this model a bit - whatcha think?

Did a lot of detailing, flipped the body around so the loading ramp is in the back, moved turret to front to allow for grater fire arc, lowered profile, etc.

Really nice design of the vehicle.

However, the turret looks really bad at the moment. The design is fine but it's just too far forward and that spoils the look of the vehicle. Please move it 3-4mm further back towards the rear of the vehicle.

I hadn't expected to, but if you fix-up the turret I might even buy around 8 at some point. They'd be good to use for a tech faction I collect.

Looking nice - I like it a lot better than I did. Still reminds me of a tank pushmi-pullyu though...

Really nice over all! But I agree on the turret!

That looks sweet. Agree there is something about the turret that doesn't quite feel right.
Can we get one of your famed internal views to check capacity for troops? ;)

IMO the turret is an improvement (I hate when the bottom of the barrels merge with the body of the vehicle, and I like the field of fire on this one).

If you have time, could you try this as an experiment? Make the rear treads taller, such that the body of the vehicle seems to slope down a bit. Then angle the turret up so it's level. Crazy idea, probably won't look good but if you are messing around and have a moment it would be interesting to see.

I think that's both unavoidable and irrelevant in 6mm scale. If the barrels are above the body of the vehicle (and not in front of them, like in the last version), they will merge unless you make a separate turret piece.

I agree with Glynn about the turret

Yes, I know. Hence why I was asking for a separate turret piece. It also allows you to do an upgrade sprue later that lets you swap in other weapons like flame throwers, grenade launchers, light missiles, and hood ornaments.

I'm not obsessively WYSIWYG on the tabletop, but I do like to model my own troops appropriately.
