Lol!

I quite like the mace as a weapon, makes more sense than a hammer. A hammer is more for entry and breaching than combat.

Love em! I can't believe how fast you can do these, and how great they look.

I'd use those as a Panzerfaust ... smacking an AFV with a mace will only scratch the paint ... >:D

To be realistic - ANY primitive close combat implement would be worthless against a modern day automobile, never mind a tank unless they are augmented somehow.

I'll keep working on those maces, but I'll likely be taking the weekend off - plus, I have to pack up a large restock.

Agreed, a mace and shield are perfect for melee in crowd control. If facing tanks they'd be massacred unless ranged troops popped the tanks first. I see the clawed girls as (sexy) warriors who have dropped either their mace or shield and have protruded their claws as a secondary weapon.

A few people have commented about the difficulty of reloading wrist guns with huge gauntlets. How about when they run out of ammo they are ejected and the claws pop out?

Hmm, bigger shields would be awesome... mace/panzerfaust i like that...
so maybe something like this?

Image

Just to make it clear: the panzerfaust granade is put on top of the mace. Than you can place it in the shield cut out. Fire and forget. Then beat the crap out of the survivers. XD

I actually like the concept. First you use an armored tranport to bring the athena guards into assault. Best target is an armoured compount or bunker. The first line of the athena squad would be the ones with shields and panzermace. They open up the enemy fortifications and are the bullets sponges for incoming fire.
When there is a big enough hole the entire squad storms the building and the faster claw variants go into close combat.

Those Nuns are completely awesome. Hey, any plans to make some male power armoured badasses? your models are blatently suppurior to any GW space marines, so I would want to proxie from you even if GW wasn't being a jerk about....well...everything.

I can get behind that. Still want pipe's, gears, an other steampunky additions but this is good.
I suggest big brass bolts on the shield

Bigger shields will hide more of the miniature. And at that scale, detail is at a premium.
