I love the unhelmed version!

Or so a certain company would have us believe. That being said, I do like the way she looks without the helmet.
Like others have said, don't worry about filling proxies. Just make your stuff yours and let people use them as they please. The idea about stating out your minis for other rule sets is a good one. Just don't let it preclude writing your own. I have high hopes that they will be as good as your minis are... :spin

These look great! The various views really help in getting an overall feel for this figure. And there seems to be plenty of room in the breast plate area to accommodate female anatomy. :)

Can't say I'm a fan of the unhelmeted version, firstly because wearing the helmet would be much more realistic, secondly because I might use these as something other than sisterhood.

Also, I was hoping the hair would be easy to clip off but it looks like it is cast close to the armour. Ideally, being able to clip off the hair would help using these as something other than sister hood.

Finally, I'm not a big fan of the drum magazine. Looks awesome but could never be reloaded with those big hands. Undeniably, this is a problem with many power armoured models but I was wondering if you could have a belt system leading to the back pack, if that makes sense, sorry, don't know the technical terms.

(Sorry for the criticisms, to be clear, these are still the best models you've done!)

I'm not sure the hair can be done any other way if the figure is to be cast in a two-piece mold.

The whole idea of having unhelmeted leaders is something I've come around to. It's silly "in real life", but it works so well during gaming or when displaying an army. Fancier helmets are an option too, of course: crests, feathers, wings, etc.

A heretic suggestions: Leave the helm off of all members of the squad! Perhabs give the armour an armoured hood with pointed peak?

Not a fan of leaving off the helmet. I realize that a pack should include at least one helmetless figure, simply because so many people like it, but IMO if you're going to bother wearing power armor, at least wear the whole thing. And yes a few pages ago I was pushing Rule of Cool-- it's just no helmet isn't cool to me.

I'll probably make one in five helmetless.

Looking ace.

On the rule set question - aren't there currently enough rulesets for 6mm? i can think of 10 represented on these boards and at least 2 others. I would look to hook up to maximize sales. Besides EW is bringing out a ruleset aren't they...?

Options, in my opinion, are never a bad thing.

I believe that these miniatures need a rule set and fluff of their own in order to really "legitimize" them.

That said - they will also have officially sanctioned rules for EW and vice versa.

Yeah I was going to say leverage EW rules and build fluff. The fluff is fluff and doesn't matter what then we play by.
I for one welcome our new female overlords

It's been my view for a while that (except for GW) minis manufacturers have more to gain from working together to build the hobby than bickering over market share. Just as with DVD, VHS, Bluetooth, MPAA ratings, etc., having open standards helps drive adoption.

And while I've been typing, deacon has the new pics! I still don't like that version of the chest, but otherwise I love the Athena suits.
