As for the Stygians - I'm going to finish the bike, then the snipers, then I'm hitting the Stygians, then after that the "Froggies".

Nice to hear about the stygians.

How about the Grud (is that the correct term) the giant command vehicle is great, but are you planing on doing any space dwarf infantry for them? I know there's competition already on that market, but your work is really among the best 6mm from what I've seen so far.

And while we are at it. (you have probably answered this earlier but there's so many pages :) ) Do you have plans to do more conventional armies, like perhaps space/si-fi orcs, humans in big exoskeleton powered armour or evil skeleton robots?

Thanks for the kind words!

The Grud will be getting a full line - but to call them "space dwarfs" are a little off the mark. I dont have many of the Grud sketches scanned into my computer - but here's the general direction:

Image

Humanoid - but not small humans. Dwarf-like characteristics, but more distant from the traditional fantasy dwarf.

There may be some more traditional army additions, but for the time being, I'm focusing on races and armies that aren't readily available.

Metal skeletons? There's something "Terminator-like" in the pipeline called the "Pharons" - they're a way off though.

OK - I think this is it boys! I brought the helmet design back into the original vision for this line by simply modeling a slightly modern version of the german Sallet style helmet - I think it works!

Image

I also made some changes that I think strengthens the model - Widened the armored canopy, brought the arms back in behind the armored shield, moved the guns to the side of the shield, etc. IMO this makes the bike more practical, and offers better protection to the driver.

Now - how about a half fender to the front wheel? Maybe a whole one?

I have removed the hair, but I can add it back in if you guys think it looks better - also check out that front view - pretty intimidating!

If you can see the face, add the hair. If not, leave it tucked in.

Hi!

I like the concept. I hope they get "mining" (tunneler) vehicles. :)

Indeed they do! BIG ones.

The helmets hide the face - I think I should nix the hair and add the backpack.

Also - no front fender / half / whole?

I say no fender on the bike and I like the hair.

The Grud are really cool looking. I'm really looking forwad to them too.

You really need to get something on the rules going if possible. I would imagine we would all be more than willing to help play test them.

I like both fenders (because they're reasonable protection against small arms fire to the tires) and ponytails (because they're adorable).

If this were a democracy, I'd vote no on fender, yes on hair, but as you posted just now looks great, too.
