i was expecting 'Anderson on a Harley' but this is interesting. think it would need a two seater with a rear cannon to pluck my interest, :)

Second the Kemeda look expectancy, or maybe something a little like an Infinity Aragoto.
This one looks a bit space-dwarfy to me.

I know it's the future but a bike that extravagant should have some sort of crazy exhaust...

Not totally sold on the bike, bit too big overall I think?

I think it rocks!! (i trust it only comes in black, drives up walls and flips over!? ;)

Perhaps the back mud guard is a bit big but otherwise great stuff.

It's a cool bike, but I think it belongs in another army. If you're going to make warrior babes, and if you're going to have them straddle a combat motorcycle, then the bike and pose should be a little more... gratuitous?

I'd say less emphasis on the wheels, and a more substantial midsection for her to ride. Here the eye is drawn to everything except the rider. The "leaning forward" pose is good, but I'd go further and have her leaning forward much more.

It's not exactly that fanservice in 6mm is going to excite anyone, it's that if you're going to have a theme like this, you might as well go with it. Plus, eventually if this took off it would be nice to have models that rock in 28mm or 15mm as well.

hmm.. not sold on the bike either. Not saying it's not cool but something is "wrong" and can't place my finger to it.

What about more of this style: The good old Lawmaker from JD

It's way to big. I would shrink the bike about 50%.

All good comments - a few things to consider:

- I can do a more traditional bike, or even something like the law giver no problem - this bike was more geared towards combat, with the large solid rubber wheels, armored canopy, etc. Sailing into combat on a motorcycle would be insane - but as always, the rule of cool will prevail.

- There's a BIG problem when it comes to bikes - and that's casting. Take a look at a 6mm bike and you'll notice what I'm talking about. There's a lot of details and negative space simply "filled in". For example - any space between the arms - that's going to have to be solid - it's important that the design of the bike goes a long way to hide this fact, or it will be quite the eyesore.

- I can do something a bit more futuristic like Akira, but steps in that direction have so far been met with resistance. "Low Tech" / "Grim Dark" seem to be the order of the day. I'll mock something up and see...

- This isn't a complete model - so details like exhausts and such have not been added yet.

- Blip - You nailed the main source of inspiration here :) The big guard in the back is something the one in the movie sorely needs! All I can think every time I see Batman riding that thing is his cape getting caught in the back wheel and pulling him off! lol

Anyways, I'll get plugging away.

I've allways thought that the bikes of other prominent si-fi miniature comapnies are just plain silly.

I like yours. If someone would be crazy enough to charge an enemy with small arms with a motorbike, then I think that they would use quite heavy bikes with an armored canopy like yours.

1. could the bikes have a driver and a seriously close behind gunner lady? then you have the illusion of a narrowing in the middle of the bike

2. or jackets/ammo compartment or seriously large fuel tanks?

3. the bike could be cast in 2 halfs to create a great shape? i doubt the cost would reduce the quantity wanted very much

i'm a Grim Dark/steampunkt camper, loving it
