Thanks chaps - much appreciated.
>>What's next?
Hopefully, some Phantom Gunships (proxies for Ravager armour) and also some more transports for the Wyches and 'Archon'. If possible, I would like to find something a bit larger than the standard Onslaught transports so that it can be a proxy for the Dark Eldar Barge. The idea is that the wole army needs to be mobile but the Wyches also need to be better protected to ensure they actually reach close combat...
Thanks again,
Phil

Are you looking at making Venom transports? Maybe the Barge of Pleasure or the Vessel of Pain heavy barge? I know Hellions and the Reaper are on the way. Perhaps Mandrakes and Warp Beast, however another manufacturer makes a fantasy range that fills this slot.

Hi deacon,
Not a problem ! Please feel free to use the pics.
I've been painting up some more Stygians but had to stop due to a 'Badab Black' shortage caused by the change in GW paints. Not happy - this stuff is integral to the look I want.
Anyway, I'll post more pics when I manage to find a replacement.
Cheers,
Phil

Jimmy is right, the Army Painter Dark Tone is an excellent Badab Black substitute, closest I think you can get nowadays.
Just as "Strong Tone" is a pretty close Devlan Mud / Agrax Earthshade approximate. =)

>>Army Painter Dark Tone ink is a great replacement.
Thanks chaps. I will try to get some and give it a bash. Much appreciated.
I understand why GW renamed their paints but why (oh why !) did they not just re-issue existing colours under new names and then add to the range.
Feels like an 'Age of Sigmar' moment ("must..shoot..myself..in..the..foot").
Anyway, I've already bought some 'Nuln Oil' to try as a replacement for the Badab Black and will give this a try on a 'non-vital' model.
I've nearly finished three units of Revenant Gun Barges (which will stand in for Ravager armour). When/if I'm happy with the Nuln OIl, I'll finish them off and take a couple of pics.
Thanks again,
Phil
