I wasn't happy with the direction the tower was taking, so I gave it another shot, and now I dig it. Now it takes up the rear of the vehicle, and the front cannon is now centered on the hull. The parameter of the top deck is now a "dragons tooth" style, offering cover to anyone up there firing down on the enemy.

Still have a lot of detailing to do, but I like the basics so far...

Would you have a variant with the tower at the front and artillery (or missiles) firing over the back of it?

I can apprciate the aesthtic, but the main cannon's bore is just sooo huge, how many shells could they possibly carry?

A mega laser wrapped with superheavy cooling sheaths makes much more sense to my not very analytically brain.

Its a great job but to my mind the whole vehicle is now facing the wrong way with that tower.

If I were to buy one I'd probably look to try and build some sort of raised C shaped structure about the turret and drop the tower

I agree. Making it modular would help. People could put towers and turrets wherever they felt looked best.

I agree too.

Interesting ideas. I still need to part it all out, so I'll take that advice into account.

I feel like it could use some small guns on the front and back.

Awsome!
however i echo other people, the main cannon is still to big and IMO the loading mechanism and shell space would be so huge for that caliablre that you would only have room for 4 shells.
you also have to have room for the shell space for the smaller guns and side cannons...not to include the turret :P

I just think a smaller on would be better :D
Feel free to ignore me tho ;)

well, on the other hand, how many obstacles on the battlefield would actually merit a shell that size? can't be more then 4 at a time...

+1 on this maybe you could have optional gun sizes so that everybody could make up their own mind what to put on the thing.

The new pics look great, coming along nicely. :)

Great model, and a great range of miniatures altogether!

The main gun is big, but some suspension of disbelief is ok for sci fi anyway. If it casts as a seperate piece it should be simple enough to replace with something slightly smaller if needed.

I think it would be nicel if the top turret got raised slightly onto some kind of platform to set it apart from the rest of the balcony area.

Also theres a balance thing I am not entirely sold on with the height of the observation tower. Personally I think one story instead of two might look better.

Anyway: Just my personal preferences. But definitely coming along nicely! :)

Nice work! I don't know if I missed it, but did you get a quote from your caster regarding your Hybrid dudes yet?
