Is there really a customer base for grud and frog men ? I mean, Grud would probably end up quite similar to EW kazharis.

And frogmen ? Seriously ? That's really pulp, the kind of stuff people might get for a laugh - and that usually imply 28mm scale.
Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but I think these would be huge risks. I'd be curious to know the financial success of EW tarragin for example. I'm really not persuaded that these lines can really get profitable...

And look at some of the ideas running around in the NetEpic Slann thread (which needs to get renamed and moved if we keep at it) for Space Frogs

Grud Super heavies, yes. An entire range is something else (infantry ?)

Well, I don't really know obviously, but I'd be wary of the most kitsch propositions (frogmen definitely belong there IMO).

Yes, I know about slanns. I'm asking if there is a Customer base. Tarragin are more or less space frogs too. I don't know about the sales, I'd be happy to be contradicted with figures, but I must say I was baffled to see EW get such things out before, say, the Royal empire.

I'm under the impression, that there would be only a handful of people collecting such lines, but once again, maybe I underestimate the number of nostalgics.

I think having complete lines available are very important for sales and marketing personally. A few infantry items, especially basic, isn't going to make anyone want to buy for the most part. Add in Leaders, Heavy Weapons/Fighters, Vehicles, Aircraft, etc as a complete line and I think you'd be surprised

I REALLY don't need any more projects, but space frogs is just too much whackiness to resist.

Hi!

I can guarantee you that with my order of "space frogs" alone (more so if it covers most of the net epic army list needs) he will at the very least cover whatever cost invested in making them.

Yeah, I really do make orders THAT BIG. ;)

The Space frogs will also happen, though under a different name. :-)

Well I like more aliens, their are a good number of humans, but it's a big universe ... there should be lots of Xenos !!! I've got DRM Lizzys and Bugs, PFC/CinC Cat people, Raptor Lizzymen, Ha-Lu-Ki (kind'a like toad men, see pic), Microworld makes Kreen Waspmen and bug men, etc. ... Aliens rule !! And that's just off the top of my alien infested head ! :spin
