I Like them. But I think many stygian fans are focusing on the "elf gone bad" vibe rather than on the "demonic" vibe of them.

It probably doesn't means anything concerning the minis themselves, it's just that the players wanting to incorporate slayers in their armies are possibly not the same as the one focused on the rest of the stygian range. I know at least one guy on the french forum was in love with them.

I'm not planning on making either an elf gone bad nor a demonic hybrid themed army at the moment, but If my "impartial" 2c are worth anything, both the slayers and the rest of the stygians are very good.

I think what you're looking for will be addressed in a future release I have in mind...

On a completely separate topic (as I haven't had chance to read through the 180+ pages!) -
Deacon, will you be doing a "Very large Okami Suit with a standard suit sized head" at all...? :)

Cheers

I will take this opportunity to repeat my suggestion that it be called a Gojira Mega Rig. ;D

This!

I didn't mean to say that the slayers "don't cut it"-- they look good. Athmospheric summarizes my feelings pretty well. Overall, the stygians look friggin' sweet.

Yeah, I saw them (and commented on them at the time). Gun and melee weapon. I'm definitely getting some. What I'm talking about is the Succubus model with just melee weapons (chains, whips, etc). In other words, the cold-weather-equipped crab girls without the crabs. Like Ivy from Soul Calibur or James Belushi's love interest in Real Men.

I should point out something else, too: the crab claws aren't my thing, but the models themselves look lovely. It's about concept rather than execution. I know for many people, there's significant demand for crabby girls. Just throwing my vote for the same model sans mutations. :)

Aye, I was thinking about the succubus too. Or are they the succubi ? I must admit the use of latin plurals in English is somewhat still mysterious to me.
