Post subject:  Horus Heresy Army Cards
Ok so after the grinding halt on the Horus Heresy booklet I have decided to try and produce Formation or Army cards for the NetEpic ruleset. The booklets were not printer friendly, not inline with what people are used to for the system and I had artists block for the artwork. To that end I have decided to start a new thread to work on the cards, with an eye to eventually, after all checks and costings are complete make available for the players. Please feel free to leave feedback or any glaring mistakes that I miss as when I start I zoom through them and sometimes miss simple things.

The first endeavour is the Legio Astartes Company. The Legions were massive organisations with a huge amount of manpower and war fighting equipment. This card represents a basic Company of Astartes at the start of the Horus Heresy. Once I have worked through Basic Legion Organisations I will move on to specific Legions and hopefully add cards to allow players to fight with Legion specific units and Companies. You may have already seen the Iron Hands Ferrum Company and a couple of Iron Warrior Cards, this is a fraction of what I have in the wings. So buckle in have your say and lets hopefully bring this to fruition.

Not for these. Honestly, I'm not quite sure where the stats for these are located. It's probably something simple that I'm just missing seeing, but could you specify where their stats are please? Thanks.

Just the current Formula for NetEpic Gold buddy so I could work them out myself from the stats.
I think it is on a forum on here just wanted to know if you had it in a consolidated document.

Oh, you meant that you were looking for the formula itself. Right. That is in a pinned thread right at the top of the 'Alternative Rules' sub-forum here called "Points Formula Rules". The first two posts contain the most recent rules. However, it is still a work in progress so be warned that changes are being worked on as we speak. Especially of note, be sure to look at the most recent posts in that thread as well.

Ok so running it through the formula the Legio Formation comes in around the 820 mark giving it a VP value of 8?
The last attempt for the booklet came in @ 950 has the formula changed a lot? I will run it through again when I'm home.
I have noticed that the Rhino stats are wrong, I must have cut and pasted a tactical stat in instead, first mistake ;)

There have been some significant changes to the formula, yes. Do incorporate the adjustments in the most recent few posts as well, if you have not.

Correct, a formation with a value of 820 would be VP 8. Anything below xx50 rounds down.

If it is coming up with different values on multiple passes through the formula, you must be missing steps here and there. Any given set of stats would have to come up with the same total value each time (assuming the same formula is being used), that's just math. I'll look into working up an example a bit later.
