Hi!

Okay, time for some fun. ;)

My phiolosophy of unit creating stems from seeing what this vehicle is supposed to do fluff-wise and then see if I can use the game mechanics to match that.

I will post just the stats since the formula can be applied as it evolves for the actual cost.

I will break it up into several post to make it easier to digest.

1. Storm Eagle
Move 75cm
Armor save 4+
CAF +2
Weapons:
2 x twin linked heavy bolters range 25cm, attack dice 2, to hit 5+, TSM 0
2 x twin linked lascannons range 75cm, attack dice 1 to hit 5+, TSM -2
Abilities: flier, transport (6) Number means number of stands maximum.

2. Fire raptor (storm eagle variant)
Move 75cm
Armor save 4+
CAF +3
Weapons:
2 x Twin linked multi-meltas, range 35cm, attack dice 2, to hit 4+, TSM -3
4 x Hellstrike Missles, range 50cm, 6BP, to hit 4+, TSM -2
Abilities: flier, no transport capability.

3. Spartan Assault Tank
Move 20cm
Armor save 2+
CAF +3
Weapons:
2 x quad laser cannons range 75cm, attack dice 2, to hit 5+, TSM -2
Twin linked heavy bolter range 25, attack dice 2, to hit 5+, TSM 0
Abilities: PD (3), transport (4)

The assault one with rhinos makes me want to cry, but I love the work you are doing here!

Thanks Primarch lots of good work

After a quick glance the whirlwind scorpius only has the scorpius launcher no heavy bolters

The fire raptor is a gunship with huge assault cannons and pod turrets on the side. I don't think it has multi melta?

Does anybody think the Super heavy Land raiders should be 1+?
First glance but will look at each further I've got family visiting today. But the rest look cool the volkite looks similar in effect to Conversion Beamer . I would maybe the drop the penetration rule I feel it is similar the the eldar psycannon but destroys flesh not minds.

Yep to 1+ for the spartan and it's variants, as with good armour all round and the extra resilience of things like flare shields they are pretty hard. Without the benefit of the super heavy table that seems about right to me.

Hi!

I got some of those weapon combinations for the raptor from the 40k wiki which lists armament for just about anything. Its easy enough to change things around how you want them. :)

I may have missed some bolter listings. ;)
