Greetings TacCommers:
Byron and I have learned a lot from all of you, and all of the other supporters of Polyversal's first Kickstarter. Kickstarter 2.0 launched this morning, and we think you will find it much improved.
Remember that Polyversal is designed to appeal to both new gamers (as a boxed set playable out of the box) and veterans like us (as an open-universe toolkit to stat out your existing collection).
I designed Polyversal to help boost the visibility of the great 6mm sci-fi we TacCommers know and love. Most of us got hooked on 6mm sci-fi because there was a designer-supported boxed game that got us hooked. Please help us get Polyversal on store shelves, so that a new generation of gamers can get hooked on 6mm sci-fi. If you've got a bunch of armies and don't want any more, $10 gets you a PDF. $45 gets you the boxed game components minus the miniatures and combatant tiles (stat cards). If you want a fully playable two-faction experience right out of the box, the $110 is the sweet-spot, and includes minis from our friends at Brigade, Hawk, Microworld, Plasmablast, and Dark Realm.
Thank you for helping us to refine Polyversal. Please join the Kickstarter, and spread the word.
From the Collins Epic Wargames Press Release:
Polyversal is on Kickstarter for the next 30 days and has a funding goal of $30,000.
The project features gameplay videos, reviews, a print-and- play you can try, and
much more. By pledging, you’ll also be the first to receive several new models
currently unreleased from Brigade Models, Plasmablast Games, and The Phalanx
Consortium. In addition, the Kickstarter is “shipping friendly” for the USA, Canada,
the European Union, and Australia, saving backers in these zones significantly on
shipping as well as eliminating import fees.
Pledge for Polyversal today and help us make this game a reality.
