Hi, I'm feeling inspired again, not having had the opportunity to play any games in almost two years, I'm feeling the spirit comming back to me, and it'sd slightly.. ehh.. euphoric I've decided to expand my collection to include TAU aswell, however in my current financial situation GW minis are far to expencive! There are luckily many good proxies... I'm having some dificulties decideing on a good colour scheme, any suggestions? Once the Army is up and running, I'm hoping to be able to play a couple of battles and perhaps write a battlereoprot or two. The Tau army has some interesting tactical aspects to it... lots of infiltration, little or no barrage, poore CC, but the oppurtunity to use markeligths to enhance their firepower... Does anyone have any experience playing TAU for NetEpic? Hints please Cheers Nils of the north! |

Hepp, Thanks Peter, These minis are absolutely stunning. I've consideret using the desert camo scheme. However, I've already painted my Slann that way... I'm leaning towards somthing in dark red...I'm really looking forward to finishing up this army and putting it to the test. I guess they need to make good use of their markelights in order to maximize the effect of their firepower... Nils |

I've gone for the desert camo as well . I may change one Cadre to my own colour scheme if I feel brave enough to put paint to fig, as experiments can be costly

I think that there was a 40K Tau force in the dark crimson, and I really liked it. I almost considered doing it for my Epic Tau as well, since I dont have many red troops. In the end, mine are a dark blue. |
