As some of you probably remember I acquired PSI titan conversion parts from GWUS.
I still have the problem of not having stats for the thing.
Main Problem: Warp cannon. What do you think this weapon should be like? I have toyed with two ideas, but can't decide:
1) It creates an area effect like Warp Hunter. 2) It is a beam type weapon. 3) Other (please specify). In any case I'll probably restrict its use to First Fire orders.
Then there's the head, which has three small (for a titan) guns. I have dubbed those Psycannons. What do you think?
Other ideas I have thought about. -Psychic save: the titan has a psychic save of 4+ even if all its shields are down and 3+ if it has intact shields. -The close combat attacks of a PSI titan are considered psychic attacks like those of the Grey Knights and Warlock Titans.
Ideas? Opinions?

I think it depends on what level of detail you want to get to, and obviously what Epic system you are using.
What about a "Psi Area of Influence"...For instance (in EA) you could say the Psi effect is unsettling on the enemy so ALL enemy forces within say 50cm gain 1BM, those within 20 CM gain 2. This is independent of any combat which would be additional. This represents the unease and shying away from the Psi titan presence.
Or, you could give it psi effects like a librarian (and in older EA versions..sanctioned psykers). What about additional benefits when combating warp creatures like major daemons?

I've always thought that it was primarily a weapon.
However, the custodian head and bell can give you ideas for effects.

That is taken into account in the "CC attacks are psychic" part. In addition, the Warp Cannon should count as a psychic attack, like vortex missile.

Hi!
Just remember to post the completed draft of whatever idea is developed on the netepic list for inclusion in the current revision.

Hi!
Why do you use modified rules of the Eldar D-cannon, they are weapons that work on a similar prinicipal.

The Titan was originally designed as a sort of counter-point to the Eldar Warlock. However the project was shelved before any rules or background were written.

Here ya go, some food for thought.

Hi!
I wonder if we can get those "badly wriitten" rules and perhaps build on them?

Primarch | I thought of that, but I don't want to make it an Imperial D-Cannon. It has to be different somehow.
It has to be pretty scary, since it takes up both carapace hardpoints. It also has to be clumsier than an Eldar weapon; that's why I'll most likely add the restriction of making it FF only.
Hm. Daemons should fear it. What else?

Hi!
Netepic, is it possible to get the old design from Jervis?
Why not make it work like a giant psy-cannon of RT 40k fame?
It affects demons and psykers perjaps inflciting hits or nullifying powers...just some thoughts.
