Just out of curiosity: how large force do you have painted? Since to me the hobby is gaming first and modeling coming as an added bonus I tend to get bored when painting 300 guardsmen for a tactical company. Over the years I have painted:

IG
1 Tactical company
2 Heavy companies
1 Assault company
1 Rough Rider company
1 Mechanized company
1 Mechanized Assault company
1 Gorgon company
2 Bike companies
2 Leman Russ companies
1 Shadowsword company
1 Baneblade company
1 Stormhammer company
1 Stormblade company
1 Artillery company
1 Rocket company
1 hellhound detachment
1 Deathstrike battery
2 Sentinel detachments
3 Robot detachments
2 Ratling detachments
2 Ogryn detachments
5 Commissars

Squats

1 Warrior Brotherhood
1 Guild Biker force
1 Colossus

And as said this has taken me _years_ to finish. Not too fast...

In 12 years of "Epicing" and having all armies - I can only say that "Most" of my stuff is painted.  But overall my production level is slow ... :(
