Hello, is there a summary of the size of the various templates used in NetEPic? Sadly over the years looks like I lost the templates in Renegades, Warlords and Armies of the Imperium.. I just saved the Gutbuster template and I have 1st edition Adeptus Mechanicus round barrages.. but nothing else. Can anyone help us?!?!? Thank you! |

Sure, Welcome back. In the NetEpic Gold rulebook all the templates are on pages 53 and 55. If you print those 2 pages out you can cut those out and use them. If that isn't an option then I've got some measurements for you Standard blast template is 2.25 inches in diameter or 6cm Chaos spawn template is 3.125 inches or 8cm Large blast template is 4 inches or 10cm Large cone is a standard blast template at the end and then going back to a point 7.5 inches or 19cm. Doomweaver (eldar) template is an octagon 1.25 inches or 3.5 cm in diameter Wave serpent template is 4 inches (10cm) long and 1.5 inches (4cm) tall, fold it in half hightwise and place it infront of your serpent. And that is all the templates I have. Good luck, have fun. |

I am so sorry, I said oct but in reality it does have 6 sides. I'm sorry for my inability to count. |

Out of curiosity, I'm curious what some of the templates are used for. I know that the 6cm template is the standard for blasts. Is the 12cm template used for anything other than the Hellbore surfacing blast? How about the two small 'blast' templates? What uses them? Also, what models use the small cone.spray template? |

I compiled a list of all of the various Template weapons a while back to answer a question about which weapons ignore the Eldar Holo-Field. While you could likely find that thread, I'll just post the data here for ease. _ Barrage Template _ _ Weapon or Model name (Size) Ork Squig Katapult (4) Ty Brooder Wriggler secondary (6) many Thudd Gun (6) FM Arbites Support (6) To look at specific weapons that completely ignore the Eldar Holo Field: _ _ Non-Barrage Template Weapons _ Chaos Kh Cauldron of Blood: Large Tear Kh Defiler Heavy Flamer: Large Tear Ng Breath of Nurgle: Large Tear Ng Great Unclean One: Small Tear Ng Shambler Toxic Breath: Small Tear Tz Doom Wing Flame Cannon: Large Tear Tz Firelord Flame Cannon: Large Tear _ Eldar Doomweaver Wire Thread: 3cm hex, board Titan Tremor Cannon: Line, 100cm Unicorn Vibro Cannon: Line, 75cm Vibro-Cannon: Line, 75cm Warp Spider Web Spinner: Small Tear Wave Serpent Warp Wave: wedge, ~70cm _ Imperial AMO Mars Sonic Disruptor: Large Tear, LOS Hellhound Fire Thrower: Large Tear PDF Salamander Flamer: Large Tear SB Immolator Heavy Flamer: Large Tear SB Land Speeder Justifier Flamer: Large Tear SM Scatolo Combat Flamer: Large Tear Titan Inferno Gun: Large Tear TL Psy Titan Psy Cannon: Large Tear, 100cm _ Ork Bowelburna Scorcha: Large Tear Gargant Gutbuster Ball: 3cm circle + 4d6cm by 3cm, 100cm Gargant Snapper Steam Blast: 15cm wedge Goffik Rokker Sound Blaster: Large Tear Scorcha: Small Tear _ Squat Battlecar Dragon Firethrower: Large Tear Hellworm Meltacannon: Large Tear _ Tyranid Dominatrix Energy Pulse: 3cm by 11.2cm, 100cm (Physical Psychic, LOS) var Pyro-Acid Spray: Large Tear+bits Trygon Bio-Shock: 6cm semi-circle, ~35cm Out of 682 discrete weapon systems, only the above 31 weapons ignore the Eldar Holo Field entirely. Of those 31, most of them (21) require the Titan to be within about 15cm (or less) of the firing model. Thus only 10 weapons out of 682 can ignore the Holo Field at any significant range. Also notice that 5 of these 10 ranged weapons are in the Eldar faction itself. Thus there are really only 5 weapons out of 682 that Eldar Titans should have to be worried about. I find this entirely acceptable. Note also that the number of 682 is literally the number of weapon systems, IE discrete stats. Many of these weapon systems are found on multiple stands and/or models, thus the number would be quite a bit higher if looking at the number of models in the game. By my count, there are 121 weapon systems that either always do or can count as Barrage Templates. As this as around 1/5th of all weapon systems, it is too many to list individually. It also means that the Holo Field has full effect on 4/5ths of the weapon systems in the game. With that ratio, I am fine with the rules as written. |

A little thread necro, my apologies, but the question just came up in my local meta of whether or not anyone knew if a PDF or STL existed for any of the Eldar templates like the ones used for the Doomweaver and Wave Serpent. A PDF would work fine, but I was curious about STLs, as I have a batch of clear resin that might be neat to use to create them. Thanks in advance. |

I don't know of either file type with them in it, but you should be able to find one or more pictures of them at Primarch's Archive: https://app.photobucket.com/u/primarchn ... t=3&page=1 |
