Planetary defense list says you get one card of either trenches or barricades per company card, but I cannnot find such a card in the army book. So my question is: how much (e.g. cm) does one card contain?

I think it is listed in the main rules as I recall it is 5x 10cm for trenches not 100% sure

Page 30 of the NetEpic Gold Core Rules has all the details about Fortification cards. Sounds like you may have found that already, but not sure.
