The imperial powerfist for titans are easy enough. But the rules for the eldar powerfist are confusing. Did they get eratted to work the same as imperial powerfists? (I think I read that somewhere, but unsure). Can they still shoot then? -Can someone run through how the power fist works for eldar titans with a CC example for titan CC? Thanks Kind regards |

As far as I understand the Eldar Power Fist Titan weapon, it can be used as either a melee weapon or as a ranged weapon in any specific turn. Unfortunately, I have not actually played an Eldar Titan in quite a while, and not under NetEpic at all, so I'm not certain enough to give a specific example. Perhaps someone else can. |

The rules on page 40 of the Eldar book seem clear to me. It can either be used as a ranged weapon or a close combat weapon, as Magnus said, and it has the special close combat grab attack outlined in the rules on page 40. I assume that the cause of your confusion is this question from Scream combined with Primarch's answer on the following page? If so, then this will be resolved when the errata/changes are all included in the rules and the revised books are uploaded. |

That was excatly what I was thinking of. I knew I read somewhere that the powerfist was changed. But it is very unclear from the old/non-imperial powerfist when the roll to damage a titan is rolled - If the roll to damage is only after a won CC then the powerfist is very bad in CC. But with the clarification that it works like an imperial powerfist it is much clearer for me and it actually have an effect in CC (help winning the CC). Thanks! Ronnie |
