Cool stuff! You guys play with a lot of terrain on the table, does that have a significant impact on shooting vs assaults?

Some tables had more "blocking lines" structures than others but on the overall, armies that performed the best were armies that could handle all the parts of the game (long shooting, moving fast, some good close combat units).

Imperial Guard player had a very good shooting army (3 heavy weapons infantry companies) but he had not enough fast moving units to capture/contest objectives. He performed quite well on the "ruins in desert" table as ruins do not block line of sight but had more difficulties on others.

Thanks for the pics, beautiful armies, now I'll have to dig out and redo mine, particularly like the Exodites, but then they have always been a favourite
