Greetings!

The official day of net epic's birth was on January 16th 1997 when the original members convened for the first time through e-mail to for the first Net Epic group.

TODAY WE ARE 18 YEARS OLD!

Since then we have produced 5 version culminating in the current Gold version and are presently involved in our next step, Net Epic Platinum!

I wish to heartily thank the epic community for all the support over these many years. The contributors are legion in number as well as in the strength of their commitment over the years and are the backbone of our continued success.

To all of you a big THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT! Without you the drive behind net epic would have died long ago. It has been a privileged and honor to have had so many people invest their time in effort in support net epic. I am humbled that you have all thought it was worth investing your valuable time in and I hope we continue to earn your support.

While our contributors are all held in high esteem there is one person that I always single out for praise. That is our webmaster Tom Webb (netepic) for whom without him and his dedication to keep the net epic rule-sets always available there would be no "net epic". Thanks you Tom! As always my esteem and eternal gratitude!

I know. :D

Funny thing though, I got on this facebook epic group and there seems to be a ton of netepic people there. Some I have not spoken to in many years from the old yahoo group.

For some strange reason, even with proding, netepic players seem content with not being involved in forums like this (although they seem to jump in on facebook readily enough).

I don't think I was ever able to coax more than 10% of the yahoo group to join Taccomms. Then again that old yahoo group STILL has people joining even after its been pretty much dead there for over a decade. Also people send me e-mails and there are some pretty large net epic groups out there, but hardly any of them here.

I am glad that after all this time people still seek net epic out and contribute their time to continue to support it. ;D

Thanks for all the hard work over the last 18 years, Primarch and team.

I just played for the first time in 20+ years, last month, my buddy and I had a blast. My poor Marines got mangled badly by his evil Tyranids :P

Wouldn't have been possible without the whole NetEpic effort, a huge thank you! :)

I remember the old days on the yahoo group that's already more than 10 years ago...Pfffff...

It's an impressive achievement to have kept going for eighteen years. Great work all round.

It's a shame that some prefer to use Facebook, rather than forums. This is a common problem, which is proving very difficult to resolve.
