Not sure if it's intentional or not, but you forgot / left off two (three? ) more lists.

Necron

I suppose I may just be being picky with the spelling on this one, but there is no Faction called "Mechanicum'. Do you perhaps mean the 'Adeptus Mechanicus' & Titan Legions? If so, you'd probably just be best off calling the thread Titan Legions, as the AM are generally not used without them. At least, in my experience.

Hi!

I felt more like having one called "other" to fit all these smaller army lists. Titan Legions is a good name for the Adeptus Mechanicus.

I really don't know what to do with Necrons. They have no minis or suitable proxies so far. I would lump them with Slann for the moment as low priority until more proxies show up.

So I'd add "titan legions"(replacing Mechanicum) and "other" to the list.

Put me down for marines. Also happy to take adeptus mechanicus as well (titan legions) if no one else wants to do them.

Would you be so kind as to explain exactly what a person 'in charge' of a particular list would have to do? I'd consider doing one, but I'm not certain what I'd be getting into.

I was wondering that, too. Depending on what the responsibilities are, I can tackle Titan Legions.

Hi!

The responsibilities of a "army champion" are:

1. Read and list any errors, omissions, clarifications or recommendations.
2. Follow the appropriate army list thread and refer any question to me for clarification or for me to redirect the groups focus for further discussion.
3. Keep a summary of the changes so as to have a file (doc, pdf. etc) that can be shared with me or others that will be used to update the actual net epic gold copies.

That's it really. Number 3 is really the most important one. The heavy lift of the actual final document is up to me unless someone has experience with adobe Indesign and can give me a hand, but I consider that part my main responsibility.

Thanks!

I can do a check through the Eldar part of the Eldar/Dark Eldar/Exodites book. The Eldar is the only part of that book I know anything about though, so I couldn't do Exodites or Dark Eldar.

Hi!

All volunteers are welcome, and several people can do the same book with no problem. It will increase out yield of corrections. :)

Are you interested in expanding the background information within an army book, i.e. the squats. reading all the squat wikis there's a bit of expanded info that could go into the book which would for one explain why the squats don't trust the eldar and hate the orks so much.

Hi!

I totally agree with this! :)

As the army list editing and correcting goes forward we should update the fluff where necessary.

I will try to get the revision threads up today, I had one to many things to do yesterday, so it did go then.

I'd quite like to see any Tyranids update be put on hold for the timebeing as well. I'm particularly interested to see what Deacon comes up with for his War Machines. We'll need to come up with some rules for the hybrids that he has already released on the market.

And while we're talking about the Squats, what about that Tartarus praetorian of Deacon's, should we come up with something new for that or just leave it as a straight Leviathan / Collosus proxy?

Hi!

All those things are true. Many wondrous things will come from Deacon in the near future. But they can be added later, as they appear. :)

Hi!

I'm contacting Cybershadow for the possibility of getting some sub-forums open for the revisions.

Could you also ask him for a "like" button for posts such as that? ;)

Would love to help with Marines.

I don't think this project should entail any wholesale changes to rules but think there might be some suitable tweaks.

I agree with Scream about fliers and think that they should be able to pin other fliers. This would make dogfights more of a tactical option.

Hi!

Cybershadow has contacted me and I have put forward the addition of 3 additional subforums to the Net Epic section:

1. Net Epic Core rules: Discussion of the core rules
2. Net Epic Army lists: Discussion of all army lists (specific threads will concentrate on specific armies).
3. Net Epic Alternate rules: Discussion of all add-on rules, systems, new units, etc.

Once these are up we will begin.
