| Post subject: | Where can I buy Eldar Exodites? |
I really love the Eldar Exodite models in the new NetEpic Gold rulebooks and would be interested in building an army of them (if it isn't too cost-prohibitive). I've been having a look on ebay for weeks now and have never come across any of these miniatures and couldn't see any sign of them on forgeworld. Am I barking up the wrong tree here, are these miniatures that are perhaps intended for another wargame and have been adapted into epic? More importantly, where can I buy them? Thanks! |

GW never officially released Exodites. A lucky few people, like L4, were able to get them from GW's archives. Since they are so rare, when they do appear on ebay the winning bid tends to be extremely high. |

If you want a more ready-made solution, the microworld games have a range of dino riders that work well: http://www.microworldgames.com/collecti ... zardriders the MWG lizardmen range coming out in the new year might also be relevant. and that can be supplemented with beasties from DRM http://www.darkrealmminiatures.co.uk/st ... .php?cat=7 and EW bounty hunters http://www.exoduswars.com/Guild-Mounted ... rchSize=12 Just a note though, the GW exodites are very chunky – the GW raptor rider mini is longer than a land raider and towers over the similar riders from EW or MWG riders. I think the MWG t-rex is a bit bigger than the GW carnosaur, or at least is a fair bit meatier. The GW triceratops dwarfs allo/anky/tri assault units from MWG and would give an imperial SHT a run for its money in a game of chicken. |
