Hi,
I'm intending on playing the "Escalating Confrontation" scenario (page 42 of the NetEpic Gold Optional Rules) this weekend but am looking for a bit of clarification on a point;
It states that "The battle will last for 7 turns after which time victory points are totaled up as usual." Would I be right in saying that you should still be using objective markers in this game and that they should count as part of these victory points?

I'd say yes. The only difference with a standard scenario is that you do not count VP before end of turn 7 and your army is not fully deployed at the beginning of the battle.
