So, since we've just started out with Epic, I want build a suitable gaming table. All my terrain for other games is of the average grassy green flock with a grey boulders variety. For Epic I'm thinking dystopian industrial/urban flair. I've still got two sets of the old GZG 6mm buildings we used for Battletech and I ordered some DRM Human Outpost terrain so that's a start.
But it occurred to me that I actually don't know how much I'll need- and consequentially how much money I'll need to budget for buildings over the next few months.
Looking at the battle report section here, some folks seem to cover almost all the table in (awesome-looking, I may add) buildings, whereas others just scatter some individual buildings. What I'd like to know is, is there a sweet spot? Is there such a thing as too much or too little terrain, in the sense that certain armies would gain an unfair advantage? From your gaming experience, would you say it's best to cover 30% of the table in terrain (including buildings, woods, toxic waste lakes, etc)? More? Less?
Thanks in advance for any advice you can possibly give me.
Cheers, Michael

Lots to medium ... a little terrain and everything dies too quickly !!!
