Post subject:  Squat observation balloon

I've seen a few people using a observation balloon model for their Squat armies. Can anyone tell me who makes that model? Or send me any other links/info on what people are using for the "newer" Squat vehicles in NetEpic?

Thank you

Pingpong ball with wire and a toothpaste cap? Just a thought.

I use some Man'O War dwarf balloons for this unit.

about 12 years ago I drew up a concept of what I called a Barrage Balloon, which was basically a bathysphere hanging from a tokamak fusion generator.

YMMV

If you have the cash and inclination, you could consider the Wings of war baloon busterrs expansion set. It comes with a WWI observation baloon, measuring 17cms x 5cm, so you might consider it a bit oversized, but it is a peach of a model. see here for photos

Yeah, the originally intended model is the Man o' War Dwarf balloon. Still readily available on the secondary market tho a little expensive. You could look at the Uncharted Seas stuff though they'd tend to be big.

The ping pong ball and the Wing of War zeplin would be to big for Epic scale.

The Man O' War balloon looks right but it's another "had to get" model. I will have to keep an eye out for it.

Thanks for your help
