Hi!

After discussions with Warmaster Nice, he'll continue to make the net epic gold books in the layout he originally started.

This means I have to paid teams working on separate sets of the same books.

Note (and I stress) TWO versions of net epic gold will be available. Each team with their own layout and take on how to do the books. Hopefully this will cover the whole variety of needs for the book (from a very colorful illustrated book to a equally well laid out book that is printer/kinko friendly).

ATTENTION ALL EDITORS/ERRATA PERSONS INVOLVED

I need the MOST recent errata corrected files on each book (from core to army books) I'm aware that they may already be in my hands, but I need to know if I have the most up to date stuff.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Once these updated files are pointed out and sent to the teams (which, as I said they may already have), NO MORE ERRATA WILL BE ALLOWED OR ACCEPTED INTO THE VERSIONS TO BE DONE.

In other words this is it. What is submitted is what comes out, no more changes, so lets be sure the files reflect what we want.

SO Zap123, Juffo, Eysi, Pettan and all the rest that continuously have talked about inconsistencies and errata, this is the last lap for you to contact me or each other and get those word files ready to go.

For those whom have contributed illustrations or links to pictures for use (like squat stuff), please re-post those links or send it to me directly.

From WMN perspective books will be release as they are done. Now that eysi seems to have gotten some help re-formatting the files for his layout his work will proceed quicker as well.

To clarify a bit:

The deadline for eratta and new additions is necessary in order to get the work done. One of the reasons the project stalled earlier was the constant flow of updates that needed to be worked into the documents. Obviously this sometimes caused the layout to shift and all sorts of other weirdness, so it really bogged down progress. Now we're going to work from one finalized document, that will not be changed in the forseeable future. Any eratta and new additions will be released as a seperate document and not worked into the Gold book. This is not to say that people shouldn't keep developing new ideas for NEtEpic, but simply that the Gold edition needs to settle into a finalized format.

And on that note: As work progess on each book I will be posting requests for photographs of various units. Again there will be a set deadline for this. If people cannot supply photos for a particular unit, that unit will not get a pic in the book. This is of course a shame as a full list of unit pics would look awsome. However waiting months for photos to arrive of obscure scratch built units also causes serious delays. In order to keep the project rolling we need to be a bit stricter with the deadlines from now on.
I know this is going to cause some problems for certain armylists, but I'll give a longer deadline for those so people have time to paint up the appropriate units.

Main Rulebook, Marines and Orks are probably going to be finished before we do the IG book, so you should have several months to finish it :)

So: to get things rolling I suggest the folowing deadline.


+++NetEpic Gold - Core Rulebook+++

Errata deadline: MONDAY SEPTEMBER 14th.

That's 3 weeks from now to compile any changesto the existing documents, new additions etc.


+++NetEpic Gold - Adeptus Astartes Army Book+++

Eratta Deadline: MONDAY SEPTEMBER 7th

IMPORTANT: Any new unit additions must be accompanied by a photograph of said unit. The unit stats will be added but we're not going to delay the book while waiting for people to paint and photograph  new units. Sorry, but this is to keep the project from stalling again.


Since the Marine book was pretty much complete by the time I left the project last time, it shouldn't take too long to complete. Same thing goes for the core rulebook. I know 2-3 weeks may seem like a short time, but we got a lot of books to cover so I want to get these two out of the way quickly. If everything goes smoothly this means that these two books are ready by October.
I still need Peter to confirm what book to work on next, but Orks, IG and Chaos are all good candidates. As soon as that is cleared up I will post image requests for those books :)

I have the collated Errata'd versions of all books in Word format.  I've just packed them all up and resent them to Primarch.  If you want me to send them to WMN directly just let me know where to send them.

Also note, for the Core Rulebook and Astartes book all I have done is a set of Errata that should be applied against the Gold version books that were already released.

As of right now, with the sending of the updated files to WMN, the update process for net epic gold is now CLOSED.

Thanks to all those that have contacted me, I have sent contact details for you to ask/send WMN whatever he needs.

Those who haven't done so, resend links with any and all pictures/illustrations you got to forward them to WMN.

Core Rulebook and Marine book are now 99% complete. Just need to double check that all images are the right formats and that sort of technical stuff. Then we're pretty much ready to upload them :)
